home page has two extra graphics I cant remove :(

I re-edited my pages to remove shadows from the text so they will appear as text not graphics, and when I did these two .png files are showing up on my web page. www.rkimarketing.com .

Every time I upload also, it is uploading these two files even thow the design does not have them.

I went into my folders and eliminated the 3.png and the 4.png and still it is uploading these. I went onto my host site and went into the folders and eliminated these two graphics and still this.

Any ideas? My preview window and html view look like they should, I am very frustrated.

When the Xtreme program previews the website a folder is created to hold the preview filles which is used ( i believe) to export as website. This folder retains these, even when resaving and even old redundant files.
You may have to find these folders and delete them before exporting as a website. Then upload the new files and directories.

THanks for the response, I am using XWD, I have deleted the graphics from the folders and am attempting to reupload now, cross your fingers and hope this fixes it.

Still dont know why this is doing this.

DIDNT fix this, for some reason it continues to upload these even though it is NOT in my design UUUUGH!

What FTP program are you using? You may have to also delete the files directories on your server, if you are using Xara's ftp module I find it not reliable as is, I use Filezila to transfer to my server. I delete the old files/directories on the server first then upload the new ones, as sometimes the old files don't get replaced properly.

Yes you have got yourself in a pickle somewhere.
Those two images are still exported and used because they are still in your .web file and squashed as shown by the pixel sizes in the exported html.
Check for hidden layers.

Note too that the flash file (bottom left) is not showing at the right size now.
It should be width="320" height="240" yet you have is set width="271" height="209". Because of this the text is looking gnarly

P.S Filesila is free.

I am giving this a shot, see if this works, I will download filezilla and use that from now on.

As for those layers I am not sure how to check that. When I open the html file it looks just fine.

As for the upload in XWD do the designers know about this?

Ruffino using another FTP program to transfer files will not remove the images from your .web file. If you do not tranfer the images you will simply create another problem of missing images being called up by the html code and placeholders appearing where they should be on the page.

Please locate the images within your .web and remove them or post up your file so someone can find them for you.

Where do I find my .web file to attach it?
