random pictures on webpage when refreshed

Hi Folks,
I am totally new in this forum and also my English is not as good as it could be.
I would like to ask if anyone has got a solution for my problem. I am using the Extrem Web Designer and i would place a picture on my homepage, that is changing every time the site is refreshed by loading it again. How can I manage this?

Hello Theesener,

Welcome to Talkgraphics.

Web Designer does not have a way of making a web page randomly change a graphic when the page is refreshed.

If you are skilled with writing javascript you may be able to create something that would work. A search of the internet may returns some javascript code that would work.

There's a number of random image scripts around.
Attached is a rather simple one that is easily added via a few placeholders.

Note: Remember that randomly selected images also means that the SAME image may also be randomly shown in succession

Dear Sledger,
thank you for your response to my question. I saw the exsample and i will try to manage the implementation into my webspace. I have no idea of java-script at all, so this is going to be real fun.

How ever, your answer matches quite good to my ideas. Also thank you for bringing back in mind that the same picture could appear a few times.

Maybe i have to know, how to rezise the pictures like i would like them to be. Is this done with the size of the placeholder?

The placeholder must match the size of the images, not the other way around in this case.
The images in my example are all 320x240.
Please download the zip above and reverse engineer my sample and .xar file.
