    Default Text problem in Xtreme

I have been creating a website for a university project with Xara Xtreme 5. I have encountered a problem on each page when entering text. There appears to be a rectangle box near the centre of the page where no text can be entered. Through all my efforts I have not been able to identify any box that could cause the problem, as far as I can see there is nothing there. The problem occurs both when writing in a text box and when copying text in RTF from word.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Post your xar. file and we can have a look and see if we can help.

No idea whatsoever. Sounds implausible, however, you are experiencing the issue so something is clearly going on.
Problem is, we can't see what you are seeing?
Which page template are you using?

Can you take a screen-shot of the issue somehow?

You have hidden & locked objects (buttons) all over the mouseover layer.

Looks like you have been moving and resizing the mouseoff objects and leaving their mouseover partners behind.
Make sure the mouseover layer remains unhidden/unlocked when you move buttons such as these.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics.

I was thinking that you might have an object set to Repel Text that would have a similar effect.
