    Thank you for your opinion.

It was a suggestion from a senior moderator to help members notice the new custom search box.
It is intended only as a temporary/initial measure, IOW, it will not stay.

a custom search is useful Steve - maybe we could have it filtered down to site level idc - just a thought

What is that exactly? Is it similar to LLBS?

    Hi Risto

Currently [unless I am mistaken] the search is targeted/filtered down to three sites combined, rather than being able to search just the one

I thought it might be useful to search talkgraphics only; ditto other two

Sure that's even easier to do directly in google than the combined search, but I'm guessing the bar is intended as a shortcut, and for those who don't [know how to, or want to know how to] use google that way

[Just mention here that a lot of members seem to find the vb search facility a pita and google site:talkgraphics.com far more useful]

To keep it simple and useful though it would probably mean 3 bars? - so its just a thought, like I said

Steve, the answers to FAQs can commonly be found at one of the three sites to which the custom search is configured to return results from.
The facility is intended to make the listing of search results from all three sites on one page easy for all who may wish to use it.

    Thank you for your interest.
