How can I put a faded background behind some text (that is in a bitmap)

Hi

I need to put a faded background in behind some text who's font I dont know.

Because I dont know what the font actually is, I can not just recreate the text as text.
(I tried "what the font" but it had no idea).

I then tried the Bitmap Tracer and every setting I tried was... absolutely hopeless!

Any suggestions?

In this particular case, if you apply a bleach transparancy, the black will dissappear. However, I would suggest putting a coloured box behind it before trying otherwise the white writting dissappears against the white background..........frank

Hi Ship, I checked the fonts by me and found that this font called, industrial 736BT, if you can not get it and you need any Text, i can write it and then convert it to shape and send it you in xar file, if you want, Regards BP
