adding printer to buton help

how do i asign the printer to a graphic button on a page please , as i want to put a printer button on my web page.

Here is some script that I found.

You could also create a pdf file and have them print from there.

also can you tell me how to link a button to a html page on my hard drive .

Select your image and in the Web Properties >>Link>>Link to web address: enter javascript:window.print()
Ensure that 'Correct address automatically' is not ticked.

Some people disable javascript in their browser which could cause the code not to work.

As a web designer you cannot be sure things will work for every person that visits your site.

The person browsing the web has more control of how they view pages than the person doing the design work.
