Have names appear in the Object Gallery?

Hi,

Definitively if we could rename objects in the gallery it would be great.

If this would exist, I would love a "live search" text field in the object gallery.




One thing though, as handrawn pointed out, is that objects can have multiple names associated to them, causing problems as to which is displayed in the object gallery.

Maybe the "names applied" section could be integrated in the object gallery as an optional folding drawer.


Name gallery is one powerful function and not many applications have this flexibility in object selection.
