    Default Perspective

I am still working on perspective and any comments are welcome. This is a controller cabinet for an elevator.

The use of a "horizon" line and perspective lines to establish a "vanishing" point are the easiest way to achieve accurate perspective.

Using the side panel you show in your drawing. Drawing lines following the top and bottom edges of the panel the point at which they intersect is the vanishing point for those edges.

In your drawing the footer (platform) on which the controller sits is not using the same perspective.

Rotating the line for the footer bottom edge to meet the vanishing point established by the panel shows the back edge of the footer is too tall.

The theoretical horizon line (where the perspective lines meet) is very high in your drawing. Perhaps it could be placed lower in the drawing and the vanishing point made farther to the left.

Thanks Bill, for your analysis. Did not take that into consideration when i did the drawing.

Nicely done drawing, all the same.
