Thank you Gary. I actually already have the 4 frames animations for each numbers prepared and the code for a windows gadget is nearly all in place: I just need to find a bit of time and motivation to put it online to promote a the Xara use for developers.
I was thinking a link to the talkgraphic forum (or the xara site?) on the setting dialog: do you think there will be any problem?

I think Xara have a 'reward' program going on based on numbers of copy one help sell?

I'll try to clean up a bit the code in next version next to make a bit easier to change graphics without be a coder guru (nothing tickle the geek souls more than see your own graphics 'live' in an application ).

The windows Gadget even support animated gif (a bit old school but pretty effective and well supported on Xtreme.
In case someone want create their own graphic for a (clock?) gadget but have no clue have start could drop a line here and I can give some help.
