    Default Repel only if visible

Currently, even objects on invisible and/or locked layers will repel text on all other layers.

I often use layers for managing various pages and/or layout ideas in a design, and it's very confusing if sometimes suddenly, some of your text goes completely crazy and you have no idea why, only to notice that on some other invisible layer, there's a text-repelling object, which obviously shouldn't repel text if it's not even visible.

fixing this definitely gets my vote! I ran into this problem doing a website I had placed a text repelling object on a pop up layer only to discover that it repelled everything on layers underneath!

A fix for this Frances is to create your popup layer contents on a new page then load it via an iframe. In this way the repelling object on the popup layer doesn't affect everything underneath.
