Where can I get a pre-built v up-market, slick shiny 3D button pre-built Xara file?

Hi

Okay, I give up!

I am trying to build a very slick, up-market shiny 3D button.

It needs to be basically be a rectangle, but with slightly rounded edges.
In a strong colour (which I can of course change)...

Btw, I did *TRY* to follow this tutorial but I failed to understand
what was going on and then ran out of time to throw at it!

Where can I get a sample Xara file where someone else has done most of the work.

Hi Shipen, in the designs gallery look in the xara drawings 1 folder and there is a tutorial for gel buttons. As that tutorial is a .xar document you can open it up by simply double clicking it and you have the artwork to pull apart as well as the instructions how to do it. This tutorial also uses named colours so colour change is easy.

Any time "thrown" at learning how to use Xtreme's tools should be considered time well spent. It's the old give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he will be fed for life.

Maybe you should hire a designer. That's what they do.
