Shadow Tool

Hi everyone. I have been away for one year for the most part, and I didn't upgrade to the new version yet. I'm currently using Xara Xtreme Pro 4.
Well, I do an extremely large amount of drop shadows in my work. I had mentioned adding an option to be able to set the shadow tool like how we set the line widths and line styles. Well, when I use the shadow tool on almost every thing I build in a scene. I always want the shadow to be darker and crisper than the standard setting of 50% and 6pix. If there is a way to set this, please let me know. If not, then I would like to put that on the upgrade request list. Thanks for a great program. I'm using it 14 hours a day and loving almost every minute of it

I do not think there is a way to set a default for the Shadow Tool.

However, here's something you can do. Create a set of objects that have the shadow settings you want. Then copy the object and use Edit > Paste Attributes to apply the modified shadow.

Thanks, I will do that with a circle and a square. That should help a lot.

You might want to add your request to the Dear Xara forum. I expect others would like to be able to set defaults on the Shadow tool, too.

What I need to know about a shadow that i used on object and put it in preview and the effect was seen. then i published it and I did not see it on the website. can anyone tell me what I did wrong?
