    Default My web site, rebooted

I finally got around to re-modelling my web site, which hadn't seen any major changes since around 2002. I turned to XX Pro 5 to do the lion's share of the work; this is the result:

Wow Spinny, that looks absolutely fantastic. I am completely new to Xara and am amazed at what you all do with this program. Beautiful job.

    Thanks!

If you're just learning XXP5 I recommend you pick up a copy of "Xara Xtreme 5, The Official Guide," and follow it cover to cover. It'll make a huge difference in your knowledge of the tool, including a really good chapter on the web page creation features. I got mine from Amazon.

The author is a member here, and there's even a support forum just for the book here at:

    Enjoy!

EDITED TO ADD: Duh, you already have the book and posted in the forum. So much for that! ;-)

Nice work. Don't know if the stone background adds anything though. It's a bit medieval and something I might expect from a gamer's site. Were it my site, I'd either lose the background, or make it so subtle that it becomes a second read.

Thanks for the feedback. I've gotten three comments on that background in total, none positive. Definitely looking at alternatives.

    Thanks again!
