    Unhappy Popup image Description annoyance.

    One for John Horn (Covoxer)

When Alt text is present for a popup image, the comment area expands to accomodate one line of text, but..... why not two?
(Same text in Title attribute is handled well enough by browsers.)

    Is this a ?

    Well, it's a limitation actually.
Some scripting may be added to support multi-line description in the similar way to the pop-up customising tweak. But is it that important?

Well, if I'm asking - then it is important

Seriously though, yes of course it is. If Xara are trying to imitate the highslide scripts then why not?
Besides, it would be nice to add more than just "Here is a picture of a pink house"....
Other information such as some camera EXIF data would be useful for SEO as well as for interested visitors.

No we are not trying to imitate highslide. You can use highslide if you want.

Ah, so expanded/extended image description text is unlikely to be an option (when using the Xara built-in popup up image feature in XWD or XX as originally questioned)

In other words users may need to disregard the feature and indeed even WYSIWYG editing while looking at other ways to incorporate this without knowing coding?

A popup image/gallery editor would be very nice.

A lot easier than I thought. Two placeholders only.
    Thanks for the motivation John

That's what we have placeholders for.
