    Symbolic link or not, the font is 'installed' and written to the windows registry regardless of it's physical location.
    Using a shortcut to a font as a symbolic link is fine, but removing it should still be done by uninstalling it from the font folder.

    You can made a font available without installing it with dp4 font viewer, though I can'r say if it will work with PSP as I don't have it installed on my W7 machine.

    I have just confirmed that dp4 font viewer as mentioned above works with Windows 7 34bit and 64bit AND makes the font temporarily available to PSP (and all other programs)

    I am a new Windows 7 user and was very upset about my fonts. I found this thread through a Google search.

    I am now doing the happy dance - dp4 font viewer did indeed work and all my hundreds of fonts can be used in PSP.

    I am so pleased that I joined the talkgraphics group just to say. . .

    i have downloaded and installed this font viewer and directed to font folder where font is that i would like to use in psp. the font is not showing up in psp. how do i fix this
