sledger I don't want to install it.I want to use uninstalled font in PSP.
PSPX2 Ultimate
Fair enough however my post was re; you post#6
Symbolic link or not, the font is 'installed' and written to the windows registry regardless of it's physical location.
Using a shortcut to a font as a symbolic link is fine, but removing it should still be done by uninstalling it from the font folder.
You can made a font available without installing it with dp4 font viewer, though I can'r say if it will work with PSP as I don't have it installed on my W7 machine.
I have just confirmed that dp4 font viewer as mentioned above works with Windows 7 34bit and 64bit AND makes the font temporarily available to PSP (and all other programs)
I am a new Windows 7 user and was very upset about my fonts. I found this thread through a Google search.
I am now doing the happy dance - dp4 font viewer did indeed work and all my hundreds of fonts can be used in PSP.
I am so pleased that I joined the talkgraphics group just to say. . .
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
