    How Cowboy—

This isn't really the appropriate place to post your question: this is the area devoted to supporting The Official Guide: The Book, but nevertheless...

No, I don't think so. Xara builds web pages WYSIWYG style, and doesn't import HTML in the manner I think you'd want. Xara can write static Flash content such as animations, but a Flash-based site with interactive scripts...feel free to disagree, folks, but I don't think so.

    My Best,

    Gary

    Further to Gare's answer.

Xara Xtreme or Xara Web designer are not HTML editors and cannot import prepared html template files from any other software or their folder structure.
Xara is a HTML generator only.
There is no HTML code internally, the saved .xar or .web file structure is not HTML.

However, web templates from other software can be used as a guide.
For example, you can load a template into a browser and take a screenshot, paste that into a new (special) layer in Xtreme and use it as a guide to rebuild the site template from the templates resource graphics.
Links and rollovers/mouseovers or other special scripting ect will have to be manually redone using placeholders and layers.

You can recreate it like Steve says.
Templates also supply you with graphics (unless they're flash)
Any graphics can be used in WD.
Note: If you do have to resize them - there may be some distortion.
Also like Steve said buttons, links and mouseovers will have to be manually done.
