    Default Xtreme 5 Learning

Back about the middle of October I ran a post about a drawing of a screw. There were so many people that helped me with that drawing. I have had to take off a few months because of travel and my wife's knee replacement. I am just now getting back to the drawing that was started. Although I don't have the gold look yet, I know given a little more time, I can do it.

I would really like to thank Black Panther for all his help in the thread and by email. He has walked me through to this stage. I am very close to getting what I was originally looking for. I think now with all the help of Black Panther and the others that helped in getting me this far shows how much the TG forum means to the novice.

    All comments welcome.

Again, thanks to BP for the help. I found the Gallery and posted the drawing on the first try. Sorry it took me so long to get back.

This screw is a vision I have for an engraved screw head for a grip on a 1911 45 ACP. After seeing the result of the drawing, I think it will look pretty good.

Since this is the first completed drawing in Xara and the drawing came out decent, I decided to use it for my avatar until I get something better.

I would say that it came out a whole lot better than "decent". Good work, CWallace.
