    Default Adding notes to Xtreme

I'm wondering has any developers develop an add-on apps that allow collaborators to add notes to Xtreme prototypes.

Adding this http://www.protonotes.com/ to each pages would be troublesome. Has any develop a script to automate this process?

    Regards,

Can you give us an example of how you would use these?

You could create an expanding text box such as in this Workbook article.

And then place one in each document. Just drag and drop a duplicate to make as many as you need. You could even color them yellow. Or a variety of colors to represent different topics or functions.

An example for a prototype software Axure is found here: http://joshuamorse.com/2009/01/14/ax...to-protoshare/

You can see a working example of 'adding notes' to my prototype found here: http://alwinaw.com/CFM-mockup/...which is something I've to create in XARA and transfer it to Axure before generating it as HTML for collaborative purposes.

If I can do that directly with XARA, it would be a time saver!

Your collaborator has to have Xara as well. Xtreme is not really set up for collaborating as such.

But you can make your own post it notes and put them on a separate layer so each person can toggle the notes on and off.

If you create an HTML page the notes will be visible but not interactive.

Moved to Talk Web > Web Designer / Xtreme forum.

Collaborative notes for a website prototype would require some form of database, something that Web Designer or Xtreme doesn't do.

However, you could make use of Google Docs for collaborative notes with a link to the shared doc on each page. Maybe even a google doc for each page of the site with a link to the relative shared doc at the foot of each page.
