Here you'll find a lot of extrusion examples that were posted when version 4 first came out and everyone was playing with the new extrude tool. also if you search the forums using the keyword extrude you will find many more threads that contain even more great examples.

Though I've not found a lot of practical use for the extrude tool, I have messed about with it from time to time.

Here is something I spent a bit of time on in early 2008 which made good use of the extrusion feature..
The XtremePAD (Portable Art Device) SILVER or BLACK versions.
