Graphics magazines?

I always read ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING (free) for the Dan Margulis articles (wonderful).

I also subscribe to the DOS 3 POWER USER'S NEWSLETTER, but ... I don't believe I've received an issue for several years now.

Yes, Tad, Margulis is always a great read. I have his latest on PS/color-correction on my night-stand. One day, I'm gonna spend the Big Dough and take one of his three-day color-correction classes. Provided I survive, I will let you all know how painful it was. No pain, no gain!

Some trivia.

I learned how to draw Elvis from a MAD magazine(s) dated in the early '50s. I found a couple of the drawings I had done which my mother put into a scrapbook. I think I drew them in the 2nd or 3rd grade.

Mad magazine was what first had me interested in drawing. I didn't realize it was so influential!

I have the boxed set on CD it was so influential! It was a classic! Do you remember the parody of Bonnie & Clyde, it was one of my favorites, Mort Drucker for president!

OK, since we are going down that road. The first 'design' magazine was Marvel Comics "Defenders". Most people 'poopoo' comics but you pick one up today and you will be blown away. Marvel Comics, DC Comics (DC now owns the rights to Mad Magazine), Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics. From Super Heroes to Fantasy to Horror to Comedy to Adult themes. The art and stories get my creative juices flowing!!

There is so much of the real world we are all exposed to each day that this sort of art work really excites my mind and imagination.
