    Default exporting in 3d

    when i export animated gifs they dont look good at all.
    they dont look anything like they do when in xara?
    is this normal?

    In what way do they not look good? Care to show an example? And attach the x3d file?

    here is a test file.
    it just looks all blocky...is that normal?

    You have selected a transparent background and have left the shadow enabled. The shadow is what is causing the problem.

    Turn off the shadow and the animation will be as clean as it appears in Xara3D.

    Another option would be to set the background in 3D to the same color as the page you are putting it on. Not as good a solution as Soquili said though, only helps a bit.

    Edit: Sorry, new to this forum, my animated gif didn't animate after attaching it, so I removed it. Not sure what I'm missing to get it right.

    For an animated gif to play without having to click a thumbnail, make the animation about 200x100 pixels.


    With or without shadows any gif is better when the background is set to the same colour it will be displayed on.

    The attached animation uses the same background color as the forum text area for your posts.
