OK I had to nag and be a bore, but it was worth it. This is the most we have ever had for a group show and the work is really amazingly excellent and consistent.

Thanks to all who shared their images (and some really cool Flash animations as well).

Your enthusiastic comments and compliments and roundly encouraged.

Congratulations to everyone who contributed to the Xara Xone Holiday Group Show 2009. Excellent work all. A special thanks to Gary Priester for putting it all together (and his gentle prodding that took the show from 3 submissions to 35!).

P.S. - There are only 34 names shown on the Holiday Group Show Cover. It seems that Black Panther may have wandered off the list in search of prey, or something.

BP > I was just making an observation. After counting the names I came up one short. It amused me for the next few minutes, trying to figure out who was missing. With that little mystery solved, I moved on to the next little item that was bothering me...

...This being the largest group show ever (as Gary noted), with so many wonderful new images to look at, I kept (keep

going back through the entries to study them further. As I did this, something in the back of my mind kept nagging at me. With so many new artists in this year's show it took me a while to realize what, exactly, it was. What it was, was Risto (Risto Klint)! No, no, not just Risto. Where are this year's entries from PixelDust, RaynerJ1, Tao Jones, Minimiro, Rhanna, RonDuke, and all of those other artists from previous shows whose works I've grown to love in my short time here at TalkGraphics? I hope all is well with everyone. I also wanted all those that contributed in previous years to know that their fabulous graphics were missed this year by at least one person.

I have been looking forward to this show and I wasn't disappointed. I had the best time viewing the works and reviewing them. Wonderful work done by all and in so many different styles...each is amazing.

The show makes me want to try an animation. I bought XaraX partly for that reason. This gives me inspiration to do so.
