    Default Jagged edges Xtreme5 & 3d6

New guy here. I'd like to be an active member of your forum.

When I export to the desktop then drag & drop the image into InDesign 3,
the edges are a little jaggy. Both in Xtreme 5 and 3d6. What can I do? I'm
    new to both of them.

Also, a side question: in other forums I've belonged to, when a response is
made to my question, a notice pops up in my email. Can this forum be set
that way? (I tried to get the answer from "contact us" but apparently it
    doesn't take questions like that).

    Thanks so much.

    Hello Jim,

I've moved your thread from the 3D forum to the Xtreme forum.

Xara programs do not create 3D, only extrusions that appear 3D. The 3D forum is for posting questions and images using true 3D applications like Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3DSMax, etc.

What size and image format are you exporting from Xtreme and/or Xara3D6?

I would suggest that if you are going to use the images in InDesign that you export as png with true color and alpha transparency. Also you may want to set the dpi to 200 or 300 rather than the default 96.

As for subscribing to threads so you receive email notices, you set that up in your user profile.

Click the User CP button in the top right of the TG main page.

Edit Options and in the Messaging and Notification area you can set the Default Thread Subscription Mode.

Is it just the screen display with in-design or are the print outs jagged. You can change the way that in-design displays imported graphics.
    It was just a thought....
