Nice photo. Spiders still give me the creeps. On the one hand I am fascinated with then and on the other scared to death of them.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
You eat their marine cousins don't you Larry?
Good captures Rupert..
Larry, I've never had any problems with spiders. I have spent a lot of time in the bush. That was until the white tip came around. Some of the stories of people who have been bitten are quite frightening.
The webs in the moonlight night are something special.

Sweet!
Great shots Rupert. Keep up with the good work.
John.
John, I know how you like the subject of spiders.
I was thinking of naming these 'Covxy.'
Then thought better of it.
Guys, thanks for the kind words and encouragement.
I am developing an LED light for the closeup work. I just have to mount it. Time... so little of it!!
Rupert
Ha, ha!
Wish you luck with the LED light. I'm sure it will help you make a lot of stunning macro shots. Not only spiders of course.
John.
Amazing photos Rupert. I have to agree with Larry though spiders are creepy! When I see a spider I am usually too busy screeching for Bill to get rid of it to take pictures! Around here we have some nasty ones like Black widows and brown recluse.

This is quite typical reaction actually.
Even those who are not afraid of spiders, are more often than not thrilled by them.
