My image animates within Xara3D, but the files on my webpages don't animate. What's happening?

When I run the gif file on my computer browser as a local file its ok.
when I try it from a web site, all I get is the first frame

    Hi

Your link just takes me to a logo for Tripod http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

How large is the gif file on your webpage? It may be that it will eventually load if you wait . . .and wait... It's non appearance may be a sign that it is too big.

    Hope this helps

    Hello EraNet,
welcome to the Forums. Your link does animate for me, though I did have to tweak my ZoneAlarm to allow it to do so. And 86K isn't excessive, (my sig-anim is 69K) so I don't think size would be a big issue, though at dial-up speeds it would still take a good 12-13 seconds to download.

    Hi all
    Thank you for your answers.
I put this gif animation into my site using "CuteFTP Professional".

When I tried it (I am using 256k connection) all I get is a solid, non animated gif.

I do have ZoneAlarm in my computer.
What is the connection there ?

    Thanking you in advance,

    EraNet

    Ok, Thats strange,
When I click the link I put, I get the small Tripod logo.
When I copy the link and paste it into the url line, i get there.
I've shutdown my zonealarm and I tried my link again and it worked.
What does it mean? (I know the answer)?
How can I continue work with zonealarm and see the animation too?

    Thanks again,

    EraNet

    OK, Huh, problem solved,
Double click the ZoneAlarm icon on the down left area near the time.
go to Privacy---> Site List---> click the option button.
go to Ad Blocking and remove the Vi from ---> Ads to Block---> Animation.
    Click ok and its done.

:-) Thank you all for inspiring me to find the answer.

Well, I guess I'll turn in my badge and two-weeks notice as part-time problem solver here on the board. The last two posters have resolved their own problems. Looks like my work here is done. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
