Default How do I align shapes around a circle?

How do I align shapes around a circle?
I have a series of small circles I wish to space evenly around a semicircle and circle. Does anyone know if this is possible?
    Thank you,
    Amaliss

This is how I do it... I use the technique a lot when drawing agricultural tyres... It's quite basic, but if you start with your semi-circle, then draw a horizontal line and rotate it by keying in the angle that you want (30, 60 degrees etc.) depending how many points you want on your circle. I clone each line then reflect it to speed things up... sometimes doing multiples at a time...

Bobby Harris has a neat way to create those segment lines.

Does the magnetic tool catch both the circle and the line when you draw the small circles making the centre correct?
