I went out in the yard and these Corellas were messing around near a hole in the gum tree near my house. They do build nexts in the hollow of trees.

Another one - this time the pair.
They can get around in great numbers (mobs of up to thousands of birds) and actually cause a lot of damage to native trees.
Not hard to take photos of these in this environment.
