    Default The Bees are back

OK. This photo is not likely to make it into the National Geographic magazine!
But, it was such a pleasant surprise to see the bees again.

These flowers are very near our house and when we go out for a walk, we normally look to see if there are any bees?
Well, we hadn't seen any for months.
But, today, there were loads of them.

You should be able to see a few in this picture.
I really wanted to take a picture where it would show that there was quite a lot of them, but, the darn things just wouldn't keep still.

Happy to see your Bees are ok and not one of these nasty Asian Hornets which have been spotted in the South of Enland. They kill our Bees and have quite a nasty venom which is said can kill a human. Thought I'd just let you know The hornets were spotted near Tetbury, Gloucestershire and work is under way to find their nest and destroy it.

Crank up your shutter speed and focus on an area of the flowers and wait until the bees come into frame then snap. A tripod and a good amount of patience can also help

Glad to see the bees are making a comeback.

    All good suggestions, Frances.
But, all I had with me was my mobile phone!
