Use of a Template

Is there a way to create a template and use throughout a site, similar to Dreamweaver?

I have tried to make a use of Repeating objects but had not much of a luck. Couldn't get the navbar links updated from the page 1 (source), where i added links, after creation pages by duplicating current page (page 1).

Another question, is it possible to assign a "Current" marker to a nav item?

Do you mean something like this?
1) Make sure you Group.
2) Edit - Pages - Duplicate current page

I don't mean a design template. What I mean is a template with functionality. For instance, I'd like to build a page template with navbar, footer and editable regions. Then I create pages from this template. So when I change non editable areas on the template, changes are automatically reflected on all pages using that specific template. Perhaps I'm being bit wishful at present..

The other item "Current Marker" simply provides a reference to page I'm navigating. For example if I clicked on "Services" nav menu item (link), and taken to services page, then "Services" nav menu item is highlighted.

Currently Web Designer does not have the type of templates you are asking about.

As for the current page highlighted, you simply need to make the mouse off button on that page your button highlight colour.

The feature you are talking about is most often called Master Pages. I do think that the Xara developers may be considering the possibility of having those in the future.
