ab29 may I ask why you would need an SVG import filter?

Very few programs support SVG. Adobe dropped support for that format in January 2009, no longer providing a plug-in to work with web browsers.

Inkscape supports SVG, I know but outside of a few Linux applications where would you use them?

This is very simple.

As Web Designer can export in SVG, i would be able to reimport it in the software for eventual modifications, if i use this format.

Why aren't you saving the native .web file for eventual modifications then??
You can re export as .svg at any time.

Sir, don't go too fast, we're not in a competitive car race here.

For graphics, i don't find useful to save files as .web plus the file in the format i want to. Doing that, one duplicates files, and if there are lot of files, this complexifies the tasks.

A good software must take in account time process, so the workflow.

The .web or .xar file is your 'project file' and your original resource for future editing. It is by far and large the most 'useful' of all formats to save.

For workflow and efficiency there simply is no better format that the native format. Failure to preserve your original native file can be a serious mistake and result in much damage to ones calm.

No. It can't work this way. You see, different vector graphic formats are usually not 100% compatible by featureset. By exporting and then importing back you may lose some of the elemtes in your design that are native to Xtreme but not supported by the format you were using for export.
There are only two formats known to support all the functionality of Xtreme - XAR (a.k.a. WEB) and WIX.
SVG does not support all the Xtreme's features. So when you would export your design to SVG, unsupported objects would be either converted to shapes or even rasterized. Importing such design back would be of little use as you'd lose native editability or even scalability. So you still need to have a project file in native format. This is an axiom for any vector graphics program.
