Default Make a transparent rectangle with border still showing

Hi! I'd like to create a border for a flash image on my site. I'm trying to achieve this by creating a rectangle with a border, then making the rectangle transparent while leaving the border visible.

Is this possible? Is there a better way? Thanks in advance for your help!

Put rectangle - slightly bigger - behind the placeholder and left-click on 'no-colour' in the colour line

Create a rectangle and adjust its size to exactly what you need. Clone it (Ctrl+K). Clear the fill for the rectangle on top, and set its borders how you like (line thickness, color, etc.) Select the rectangle underneath (there are several methods — ask, if you need help). Clear its border and adjust the fill's transparency as required.

Thank you both! Neodeist - that's it exactly. I knew it was likely something straightforward!
