If you are asking about where I am located, a small town in north central Tennessee in the United States. See attached image to see how the vBulletin software can display a member's location. Click the thumbnail to see a larger image.

In my experience clients that have asked to be able to edit web page content have not used that ability. Therefore I see little use in incorporating it into a web design.

Cool Re: The door to Xtreme Web Creation ™

I try to understand why i'm disatisfied with this software. It seems to me that it doesn't offer all the possibility and functionality for doing webdesign.

Where are the limitations ? I think it is mainly a question of integration into dynamic frameworks.

Web Designer was not created to be a dynamic content web design tool.

It was intended as a low cost application for the casual user that wants to create their own website.

Unfortunately it seems people that are professional web designers have misunderstood that concept and want the program to do many things it was never intended to do.

Web Designer is the initial release of a web design program and may change with the next release. We can only wait and see how Xara Ltd decides to develop future versions.

I guess there is another small difficulty that I don't thinhk anyone has mentioned here. If Xtreme is built in C++, which I think it is, I guess porting it to Java or some such is not trivial.

Finding faults is a downwards spiral. Try the strengths instead.?
This is old ground at TG, most people understand the target audience of this software and most work with it's strengths while understanding the limits and knowing that it is not and was never intended to be a html editor.

However, I disagree with your comment, it certainly does offer the possibility and functionality for doing web design and this has been proven over and over by the many examples posted at TG since the release of Xara Web Designer.
Design flair and ingenuity will always overcome perceived limitations of any software, but rarely overcomes personal limitations.
