Exclamation Extra nodes clutter after shape add

    Using Xara Xtreme 4.0.4966

    Hey all!

So I'm using the freehand tool alot in my work. I get pretty large complex surfaces sometimes in the characters I illustrate and I try to keep the nodes to a minimum.
The problem I've bumped into is that when I've added two node abundant shapes together, there's suddenly loads of nodes where there were none before, and many of them are on the lines but not stuck to it. Some are very clustered together and some are more sparsely divided throughout my newly combined shape.
It's really frustrating and I really wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problem? Is it a bug or simply a limitation in Xara's shape combine function?

Sorry, I can't tell you why there are no many nodes. Have you tried using the "simplify" slider in the Shape Editor tool? It will enable you to reduce the number of nodes once you've combined the shapes.

I updated to the latest version and that seem to have solved the problem. I should've thought about that right away.
    Thanks for the responses!
