Do you really believe that the manufacturing from tree to reem of paper is any better for the ecology? Not to mention the cost of even a medium duty colour laser printer and Cyan/Yellow/Magenta/Black toners.
It's all about choice Bob, this was mine...

Here's some display fun to ponder..

Yes, surely it is much better for ecology. Much, much better.

True, but what if that is already present? After all, printer may be a compulsory device for many, regardless of tutorial printing.
    and Cyan/Yellow/Magenta/Black toners.
Not more than energy consumed by monitor during tutorial reading.

I would put it this way, if you have second monitor, most ecological way is to use it for reading. If you don't, but you have a printer, the best is to print the tutorial. If you have no printer too, the best for ecology is to buy a second monitor. But even better is to learn to use Alt+Tab or something.

Good heavens John, you must either be an extraordinarily slow reader or laser toner in the Ukraine is as cheap as talcum power

Ha, ha! You read tutorial once, without following them? And you never come back to them in future? Good for you then! But most people do.

Seriously though, how much ink or toner is used by a single tutorial?
How much energy consumes monitor for at least an hour?
    What's the price difference?

Though I suspect you may have solar panels or wind generators in Australia which makes this irrelevant...

Maybe I could run more than two LCD's with the wind generated at TG alone

All this is to much for me. I can't sleep at night worrying if washing out my Pot Noodle tub is saving the planet by recycling or destroying the planet wasting hot water. Oh God what am I to do?
