    Default Nav bar color change

I watched the tutorial movie on making nav bars.

Then inserted the insert 2 stretch nav bar with no problem.

But when I change the color to match my site colors the text goes away.

The movie shows using a template and when dragging and dropping on a page it ask if you want to match the site color - I can not find a way to do this with my non-template site. - jb

Don't just click on the button to change it. Not sure of all the correct terms, but hold down Ctrl when selecting the object. That will allow you to change the start, end, line color etc. of the object. I'm sure one of the experts can explain all the workings of this much better than me!

Jeb - You have probably grouped or softgrouped the objects on the button. Hence when you change the color, you change the color for everything in the group, including the text.

Follow Jim's excellent advice. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on the button part of the group and you can then edit that particular shape.
