    Default Tom's Guitar - Stereogram

My good friend and professional guitar player Tom Baker provided the texture (from his electric base) and a good photo for me to use to create the depth image. It has been some time since I attempted this complex an image.

For those who can never see these things and think it's a hoax, I have added the two dots at the top of the image. If you relax your eyes and stare at the two dots for a while, the two dots should merge into three dots. If and when this happens, do not change your focus but let your eyes slide down into the image.

John, I can usually see these immediately but when I tried it using Gary's 3 dot suggestion, I completely lost the guitar and couldn't find it. I struggled to locate it again and had to force my eyes to accept the 3D guitar shape. What works for one person may not work for the next person and it seems some people have a very hard time 'seeing' the image. The day that you finally 'see' an image in one of these will be the day that they come easy to you.

That guitar's got strings all over the place. No need to fret, though, the image pops right out. Nicely done, as usual, Gary. I must say that the dots spoil the stereogram a bit for me. There's too much of a contrast between the dots and the image and, like Nancy, I find them distracting.

Can't wait for the next one,
