    Hi Purple Edge,

I have not used Kuler. I prefer using myPANTONE palettes, which can output palettes as Photoshop .aco color swatch files. These can be used by Xtreme.

Does Kuler offer output as .aco?

Just put the .aco file in the Palettes folder of your Xtreme version. When you next open Xtreme the palette will be available in the Color Gallery. You can have the palette display on the Color Line or simply use some or all the colors in your current document.

Hi Bill, so far as I know Kuler just does .ase exports.

The thing I like about it is that you can give it an image and it will suggest palettes which are appropriate for that image - this is a big boon for me because I am color blind, so it makes color selection a bit hit and miss!

I think it is worth having a look at, it is free to use, but you need to register at Adobe to upload an image...

Kuler has been brought up often before, along with several other colour theming solutions.

    Back in 2006

And more recently earlier this year

As mentioned in the 2006 link, using KULER with Xtreme is as simple as a screenshot and colour picker.
You can then name the colours and save as a custom template in Web Designer or Xtreme.

Note: There was no need to register with adobe to upload my image.

Yeah, I know you can take a screen shot etc, I was suggesting that Xara support .ase import, which I thought was an appropriate request for this forum?
