Default New XWD website for an artist friend

I did this website for an artist friend of mine and it went live yesterday.

It's been a bit of a learning curve as I'm self-taught so know it doesn't have brilliant graphics etc (unlike some of the sites posted on this forum which are amazing!) but I am so pleased and more importantly, so is the artist.

    Welcome to Talk Graphics.

Nice site. It goes well with the subject matter and does not overpower the artists work.

An excellent site and a great artist. The site design highlights the artist, not over-shadowing him.

    Nice site.
But, I have noticed that most if not all pictures require some enhancement. Brightness levels would help a lot.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the site and for all your comments.

Appreciate the nudge to look at the brightness levels

Congratulation for the site and send also my recognition to painter, it is incredible the quality of drawings.
The site is really well done, just a detail, when you click over a photo appears an X like the photo doesn't exists, but if you wait a bit the photo appears.
I'm almost sure you can put something to indicate that the photo is loading.
If my memory doesn't fail covoxer's tweeks has an example useful for this.
    Best regards and again congratulations.

    Great Redbear

The site really works well with the subject matter. I agree that it doesn't over power the artists creation.

Both artists (digital and traditional) should be proud.

Links do not generate a page in Chrome 4.0.295
Clicking the top links just keeps you where you are.
Creating a new tab to open the link by holding control and clicking DOES open a new tab with the new page (eg. bio, etc)
    Maybe it's a chrome-xara problem?
Works in ie and maxthon like it should.
Chrome is gaining market quickly, may want to take a look at this.
I've surfed thousands of page and sites in Chrome, the xara-generated site is the first that this happened with. Another one was a xara site for that restaurant at the top of the hill guy, I think it was in the web site gallery... that did the same thing. Hilltop Harry was it? You click on the page nav link, and it does nothing in Chrome.
Nice design! Are the nice fames a bit cut off at the sides though?

Seems to all work fine in Chrome 5.0.322.2 and Safari 4.0.4 (531.21.10).

    Latest Chrome builds
