Is there any instructions on how to make design templates for WordPress and Joomla ?

Hi Isaac,
Welcome to TG Forums.

I don't believe you can. Joomla and Wordpress rely on .xml and .php
Certainly you can create most of the graphics and buttons for a template/theme, you can even prototype a layout - but that's about as far as you could go with XWD. You would still need something else to build the real template .xml etc to install your design into Joomla.

Is there any plan so XWD can do in the near future ? it would be valuable and un-matched feature inside XWD

No idea. Xara developers don't tell us what might be coming up in future releases.

Perhaps you could pose the question yourself as a requested feature in the 'Dear Xara Web designer' forum.

Remember though, that XWD is not even a HTML editor - so it would be a huge shift away from what it currently is to become an .xml and .php editor.
