Default I can't link a line of text to another page in XWD

    Hi all
I have been through the help files to find a solution to this issue. Let me explain. I have created an index page and on this page I fave a line of text saying Table of contents enter here and I would like to link that line to a page named table of contents but this page name does not appear in the link to page drop down. Any ideas as to my problem?

Welcom to TG bigalchism. You need to create the page table of contents first. I suggest you name it "toc" for purposes of the link. You can't link to a page until it exists.

Thanks egg I did as you suggested and the page named "toc" still does not appear in the link to page drop down. Oh, I did have a page named Table of Contents. I have tried everything and have been resurching this issue for 3 days. I could creat my website in MS Expression Web 2 but I can't be creative enough.

Attach your .web file and let's have a look at it. It's something very simple I'm sure.

What Egg means is that you must create the toc page in the same Web Designer file.
Press the 'Insert new blank page...' icon on the toolbar or go to 'Edit>>Pages>>New Page' - then in Web Properties>>Page [tab] name it toc.htm

Now it will appear in the Link to page drop down

Sorry for a poor choice of words, so let me change 'monitored' to maintain.
I have friends and family who would like me to create and maintain a simple website for them. So here is the revised question. Can I create and maintain multiple websites in XWD? If so could you please recommend the procedure.
Thanks again, Big Al (aka BA).

    OK I see.
In order to update an existing site you will need to reload the saved *.web file back into Web Designer, edit or add to your content then re upload the entire site once more.
Sometimes it's best to remove the site from the host first using an FTP client such as FileZilla.
