Thread: image sizes

    Question image sizes

I have to create two images for one of my classes. One has to be a "logo" and one has to be a "banner". These images will be embedded into a Flash ActionScript 3 project that will display at 640x480. What sizes would you suggest for the images? I have no depth perception so trying to figure this out has been difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am not familiar with action script, but do work with SwishMax2. I would imagine if they work the same, create your images at the size you require in ActionScript. The DPI should be at 96dpi for Windows browsers and if not using for print. If you are working in Xtreme with your images make sure the size is at whole pixels, or you will get a border on exporting.
