I wonder what Mr. Bell would think of the things we call phone nowadays?
Wonderful modelling. The phones deserve solo renders, imo. Closeup and angled to show the details better.

I agree with GM... cool phones need thier own table/location...

Would it be possible to see a wire of these?

What is this modeled/rendered in, fossman?
The texture on the boxed phone looks almost like a "bamboo" veneer. Maybe 'cause it is? Dunno.
On the whole, I like it. It's a good exercise in making realism.
Is the cord insulation that old paper type, and was that the effect you were after for the wire insulation?
The lighting is good. You could use a little light filler around the receiver on the boxed version. Maybe a little more luminosity in the black texture...

    Good work,

Thanks for your comments guys, I appreciate them all. Modelled and rendered in C4D. Nothing fancy here, mostly primitives tweaked and hypernurbed into shape. The box texture is a walnut colored bitmap with some 2D noise in the bump channel. The cords I was going for an old canvas look. Will attach some pics of the wire.

Wire image of the box phone. I am working on a couple of other phone models and will post them later.
