Post Xtreme Pro 5.1: PDF export: Layout messed up

I'd like to create a high-quality PDF document.
So I tried to export a Xara Xtreme Pro document to PDF, but as a result I got a messed up layout in PDF.

I tried different settings to no avail. (see attachment )
    What did I do wrong?

Hi TonyF and welcome to the forum!

The issue is the tabs at the ends of the lines. If you convert the text to shapes in the pdf, everything lines up as you expect it to. If you need a quick way to generate the pdf this minute, export with Convert Text into Shapes turned on.

It's a little bit more work to retain the text in the pdf. Just remove the extra tabs at the ends of the lines, and make sure that every line ends with a hard return.

It seems that Xtreme expects a tab to be followed by text, so it was inserting the "empty" tab at the beginning of the next line.

Thumbs up Re: Xtreme Pro 5.1: PDF export: Layout messed up

Allison, thank you very much for your speedy reply.

I removed the "trailing" tabs and all was fine.
Your solution works well for me.
