object sizes

why am i getting errors that my objects and pages are too big?

I don't recall ever seeing that type of error.

What size page and objects are you using?

Page size limit is about 9ft

Object size limits are dependant on the units (pixels,cm,inches,feet,yards,miles etc) chosen.

The images sledger posted are the ones I got. I was going for a page width of 1600px height about 1000. and an object of about 1600 px by 5px to use as a vertically repeated background. As I type this I'm thinking that I may have used px instead of pix as the unit. Could that be the problem? I'll try to recreate.
