Question Photoshop 7 - help to bring image to original

    Dear Friends

I have a image downloaded from internet, a jpeg format, the picture is a small group photograph, 3 persons, out of them one person's face is cover to hide the identity with black circle. is there any way to get rid of that black circle and see the original face behind?

is there any tool/trick available with photoshop or any other software?

Without the original image (without the black circle) it would be impossible to remove the circle to reveal the person's face.

If the black circle was translucent so details of the face were visible you would not need to remove the circle to see who is there. Without the details of the face there is nothing to restore, only black pixels.

There are no layers in a jpg.
The answer I'm afraid is just 'No'..
