    Default Plotter Cutting?

    I have a artwork which send me my client he needs cutting the letters on plotter but problem is that this artwork in photoshop i need this into eps format so guyz what to do? or trace this artwork in Illustrator or some thing else.

    Hello Sajjad,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

    Contact your client and ask if they can provide an eps file rather than a jpeg image.

    If they are unable to do so, ask if the font used is available.

    If the font is not available you may want to attempt using Illustrator's trace. If that fails to create a usable result you may need to manually recreate the font using Illustrator.

    Illustrator did a fair job in turning into a vector file, it needs to be recreated however a simple layout, nice one to do... If you can use a vector program go for it. Most my clients say they have a logo for a business card it is a jpeg or png filr. That is fine until you get what happen to you. I receive several a month to convert so I can create a yard sign, vehicle graphic, banner etc.
