Xara Xtreme 5 running at snail pace could you please help

Do you have Nero Home installed? I had NH installed and noticed there was a process called something like NMindexer which started hogging down Xtreme on my workstation. By stopping it Xara Xtreme worked fine again. And for some reason it was only Xtreme that was affected by Nero's indexing manager.

Wonder if a "defrag & disk cleanup" might also help, if not already done (or on auto scheduling)? Cost nothing and ?? Cheers

I've had the same problem with this error. I've found that if I run another effect from another vendor then undo it I can run the live effect that caused it. Also If I unload Xara and reload I can run the effect. I haven't found anyone that knew what caused the error nor any fix for it.
