Default Universal Background Behind Pages and Centering

I have a site that is made up at 955 pixels wide... in order to fit inside browsers viewing at 1024x786.

Is there a way I can place a textured background... or a color "behind and under the site"...and also "center up" the site pages...if a user views my pages at a higher resolution of 1280 or 1440 for example.

I saw a test of my site and it ended up on a white background and shifted to the left for some reason.

    Thanks

Default Re: Universal Background Behind Pages and Centering

    Hi Suzzie,

WD and Xtreme sites are all centered by default. So this should not be a problem unless there is some introduced code in a placeholder (for example) which changes this.

You can ctrl+Drag a texture from the fills gallery to the page background and have it tile as the website background (or import your own texture, delete it off the page then ctrl+Drag from the bitmap gallery to the page background)

PS: Do you have a link?
