Bill > Wow! That brings back some memories. It's been a long time since I've has a sarsaparilla. I used to enjoy a nice cold sarsaparilla, birch beer, or cream soda (white, red or blue - red was my favorite) when I was younger. I don't remember seeing any of them in recent history. Your bottle cap does well to capture the essence of the drink.

John > Don't forget, never travel without a trusty towel. I really enjoyed those books and was saddened when Douglas Adams died. I was so looking forward to the last movie release only to be tremendously disappointed. Even my daughter thought it boring and mostly a waste of film. I'll have to dust off my copies of the Hitchhiker series and re-read them.

Nancy > I'm glad your enjoying them. No need to fret, as there will be plenty of time to post. When you're ready, of course.

Frances, that fizzy cap looks almost exactly like my tongue did after eating several different colored/flavored Zotz® candies back in the day (60's & 70's). I used to love those things. I even thought they were better than Pop-Rocks®. Another cool cap for the collection.

    Thanks for contributing,
    Harry

I am also a fan. When I first read the original book my house number was 42.
